How to report an error
Email editor@nursinghomeclear.com with the page address and what is wrong. We check it against the CMS file the page was built from and reply to you.
What we can change, and what we cannot
- We can fix our copy: a figure that differs from the CMS file, a wrong date, a broken link, or wording that misstates a record.
- We cannot change a citation, rating or fine. Those are CMS's and the state inspection agency's findings. A home can dispute a citation through its state's informal dispute resolution process; when CMS records the outcome, the next monthly rebuild shows it.
- Quoted inspector text is published as CMS released it, apart from our privacy scrub. If a quote names or identifies a resident, tell us and we remove it from the page at once.
